Dana M. Kyle

Dana M. Kyle has more than 15 years experience in estate planning, business and real estate law and helping clients meet their estate and business planning needs.

She also helps local businesses address employment needs, contract negotiation, trademark registration, buy-sell arrangements, and business sales, mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Kyle spent many years as a partner and transactional attorney with Miller Stratvert P.A. with offices throughout New Mexico before she opened her boutique office in Las Cruces, New Mexico, with a focused practice in a relaxed atmosphere to better meet, understand and address her clients’ needs.

A frequent speaker at events in Southern New Mexico on topics including estate planning, and probate, Ms. Kyle also makes presentations to local businesses on business and employment topics.

Ms. Kyle received her B.A. from The Wichita State University in 1992, and her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1995.  Ms. Kyle was licensed to practice law in New Mexico in 1995 and in Texas in 2005 and continues to hold both licenses actively.  Ms. Kyle is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. and currently serves on the Board of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Section of the New Mexico Bar and has previously served on the Board of the Business Law Section of the New Mexico Bar (2006-2009), including as Chair of that Board in 2008.  Ms. Kyle also currently serves on the Board of the New Mexico’s Women’s Bar Association.  Ms. Kyle also is a member of the Southern New Mexico Estate Planning Council and has served on that Council’s Board and as President.

Ms. Kyle has written articles on business succession planning for New Mexico publications and has served on various committees to help establish model business planning forms for New Mexico.

Born in Wichita, Kansas, Ms. Kyle still has strong family connections in Kansas though she now calls Las Cruces her home.  She is married, has young twins, and spends much of her free time enjoying her family.  Other interests include her spending time with her pets, two corgis and a ragdoll cat, and traveling, reading, decorating and gardening.
