Mr. Harwood is a native of Northern California. He was born and raised in Mendocino County, before attending college at the University of Puget Sound, in Washington. After graduating from there, he returned to Northern California to attend The University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in San Francisco. After graduating from law school and passing the Bar Exam, Mr. Harwood gained criminal law experience by serving District Attorneys of Mendocino, Orange, and Sonoma counties. He prosecuted thousands of cases in felony and misdemeanor courts. He litigated cases in some of the busiest courts in California. He successfully prosecuted individuals in adult and juvenile courts. Now, Mr. Harwood is back in the Bay Area. He fights for the rights of his clients with the same vigor that he displayed as a prosecutor, using the insider knowledge he gained as a deputy DA to win the best outcome in all of his cases.
