C. Michael Robbins

Mr. Robbins is a Vietnam veteran who served for two years in the enlisted ranks of the United States Navy as a deck seaman aboard a destroyer tender whose mission was to supply, support and repair the U. S. Navy destroyer fleet in the Western Pacific from 1965 through 1967.

Following his initial release from active duty in 1967, Mr. Robbins completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Memphis. He graduated cum laude with the B.B.A. degree in August 1974.

Mr. Robbins later obtained his legal education at the University of Memphis, School of Law, graduating with the J.D. degree in 1977. During his law school years, he served as Articles Editor of the University of Memphis Law Review.

Following graduation from law school, Mr. Robbins again entered active service in the United States Navy. Commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General Corps in 1975, Mr. Robbins served as a Navy judge advocate at the United States Naval Base at Subic Bay, Republic of the Philippines; the United States Naval Station at Rota, Spain; and the Naval Air Station at Beeville, Texas. Mr. Robbins left active duty as a Navy judge advocate with an honorable discharge in 1983, having attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

During his approximately eight years of active naval service, Mr. Robbins traveled widely in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Since leaving the naval service in 1983, Mr. Robbins has been actively engaged in the practice of law as a private attorney throughout Tennessee with offices in Nashville, Memphis and Covington at various times during these years. In April of 2008, Mr. Robbins was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar and has recently completed his move of home and office to Oklahoma. In July 2009, Robbins Law Office was opened in Downtown Oklahoma City.

Mr. Robbins has represented clients in cases ranging from simple traffic citations to complex criminal cases involving offenses from criminal trespass to murder in the first degree. Additionally, Mr. Robbins has represented clients in administrative agency matters such as vehicle forfeitures based upon alleged drug trafficking and/or alcohol related driving offenses, disciplinary hearings involving licensed professionals, actions by child welfare agencies directed toward removal of children from their custodial parent or guardian and administrative actions aimed at disciplining municipal and state employees such as law enforcement officers and state prison employees.

Mr. Robbins has over 30 years experience as a licensed and practicing attorney. He believes firmly in protecting the rights of his clients within a relationship of mutual respect, confidence and courtesy. Attorney fees are determined by the specific needs of the client, understood in the context of the overall facts and circumstances of the particular case, the time required to provide effective representation of the client and the legal complexity presented by the case.
